Olumie is a free, browser-based video chat that connects adults with strangers for short conversations. These terms are the agreement between you and us. If you don't agree with them, don't use Olumie.
The short version. You must be 18 or older. No nudity, sexual content, harassment, or anything illegal. We moderate and we ban. Premium is $4.99 per month, renews automatically, and you can cancel yourself at any time. We record nothing of your video calls.
Olumie is for adults only. By using it you confirm you are at least 18. We don't knowingly allow anyone under 18 to use the service, and we terminate access when we find out otherwise. If you believe a minor is using Olumie, report them in the app — it reaches us immediately.
You agree not to use Olumie to do any of the following:
Anyone can report anyone. Reports are recorded and reviewed by a human.
We also run automated checks: software running in your own browser samples video for explicit content, and links in text chat are filtered. These checks are imperfect in both directions — they miss things and they occasionally flag something innocent.
We may suspend or ban access at any time, with or without notice, if we believe these terms have been broken. Bans are applied by IP address, which means they can affect other people sharing your connection. We don't promise an appeals process, though you can contact us and we'll look at it.
We do not pre-screen conversations. You are talking to strangers in real time, and you may encounter content you find offensive despite our rules. If that happens, use Next or Report.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
Gender is self-declared and unverified. A gender preference filters who you're matched with based on what other people have said about themselves — it is not a guarantee that they've told the truth. Interests, region, and language filters work the same way, and may be relaxed if nobody matching is available.
Olumie is offered without warranties of any kind. We don't promise it will be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors, and we may change or discontinue it at any time. Video connects directly between browsers, so call quality depends on networks we don't control.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the conduct of other users. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.
You may use Olumie without an account. If you create one, keep access to your email secure — anyone who can read it can sign in as you. Tell us if you think someone else has access.
You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time; see the Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do. Continuing to use Olumie after a change means you accept the updated version. For significant changes affecting paying subscribers, we'll give notice by email first.
Olumie is operated from Washington State, United States, and these terms are governed by the laws of Washington State, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Email olumiesupport@gmail.com. We're a very small operation, so please be patient — but we do read everything.
